As a senior woman, I found Le Closier in La Barthe-de-Neste to be the perfect hotel for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The decoration of the hotel was tastefully done, with a beautiful blend of old and modern elements. The general areas of the hotel, such as the dining room, lounge room, and patio, were easily accessible and well-maintained.
If I were to ask for one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have handrails or additional support in the bathrooms. This would make it safer and more convenient for seniors to navigate the bathroom facilities.

The natural surroundings were truly breathtaking, but unfortunately it's of the property. the rooms were dirty and dated, looking nothing like the pictures posted. the towels were old and stained making it hard to dry after an alleged refreshing shower. the breakfast supplied was meager and unappetizing.
With such negative conditions, I cannot recommend this accommodation. The establishment's advertised amenities, including high-speed wifi was far from what was delivered.

the staff was really friendly and helpful. They prepared a delicious homemade dinner and breakfast with fresh ingredients from their own garden. they offered bicycle rentals which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around the hotel. the room was spacious and clean with breathtaking views overlooking the landscape. We also appreciated the peacefulness of the location and the opportunity to disconnect.
The wifi signal in our room was weak and unstable, which made it difficult to work online. the shower water pressure was a bit low and the temperature was difficult to regulate.

The view from the room was fantastic and we appreciated the complimentary breakfast. The staff was helpful in recommending local attractions.
The room was not as clean as we would have liked. There were stains on the bedding and we found a few hairs in the bathroom.

I had such a pleasant stay at this charming bed and breakfast. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had beautiful views. The hosts, Reg and Sue, were incredibly friendly and treated me like family. They even arranged a massage for me to help with my back problem. The location was breathtaking, with plenty of hiking and biking options nearby. The homemade meals were delicious, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. I also appreciated the secure bike storage. The only downside was the wifi signal in my room, but it was perfect in the common areas. I highly recommend Le Closier for a fantastic, warm, and enjoyable stay.
